Expanish, Argentina has applied its wealth of experience in Spanish language education to develop a selection of dynamic, enjoyable and highly effective crash classes in Spanish.

The course is broken down into five individual two hour modules, spread over five days to ensure flexibility for those short on time. Students can choose to take just one module on its own, or up to all five modules across the week, depending on the time they have available.

Modules are designed to be interactive, fun and full of useful content, to aid learning, boost confidence speaking, and ensure that students are able to put to practice everything they have learned.

The modules

We have developed five different learning modules, designed to work for people who want to take one module, while also being complimentary for those who want to take up to all five modules.

Each module focuses on key phrases and vocabulary necessary to get by in specific contexts. The goal is for participants to speak straight away and to achieve as much as possible in 2 hours, while also providing the students with the tools to continue their learning outside the classroom by applying concepts to different contexts. This ensures that:

Students taking one module... will leave the course armed with the vocabulary to get by in specific situations and key phrases that can be applied to a multitude of situations.
Students taking between two and five modules... will build on their vocabulary and phrases with each module they take, while consolidating and practicing the things they have learned in previous modules.

MONDAY - Module I

Eat, Drink and Practice your Spanish

This module focuses on communicating in restaurants, bars and cafes., from basic greetings, how to read a menu and order food, to expressing special dietary needs, and making complaints. It will provide students with everything they need to know to enjoy eating and drinking in Buenos Aires.

TUESDAY - Module II

Shop til you Drop and do it in Spanish

This module focuses on buying things in a variety of different situations, from clothing stores to supermarkets and kioskos. It will provide students with the tools to know to shop with success in Buenos Aires.

WEDNESDAY - Module III

On the move, travel in Spanish

This module focuses on providing phrases and vocabulary to help students move around the city of Buenos Aires, other parts of Argentina and even other Spanish-speaking countries with ease. It will go over topics such as how to buy tickets, get directions, book accommodation and much more. It will allow students to successfully navigate Latin America.

THURSDAY - Module IV

Everyday Fundamentals, Ask for it in Spanish

This module focuses on communicating in day-to-day situations and using basic services such as withdrawing cash at banks, getting the laundry done and going to a doctor. This will allow students to get things done!

FRIDAY - Module V

Making Friends and Socializing in Spanish

This module focuses on teaching students to speak in informal social situations. It covers topics from how to introduce yourself and talk about family, to general conversational phrases and vocabulary for conversations in a variety of social contexts. It will allow students to converse with locals and make new friends.
