Student’s Code of
Conduct
At Expanish School
- Drugs and
alcohol are strictly prohibited in the school (see Terms and Conditions).
- Food is not
allowed inside the classrooms. Snacks only are allowed in the Common Room
area.
- Non alcoholic
beverages are permitted inside the classrooms and/or Common Room.
- The School’s
opening and closing times are 09.00 am to 07.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Students are not permitted to be in the school building before or after
these times without special permission from the school director.
- Attendance
should be regular and punctual. The school will offer scheduled break
times for group classes, which the students are advised to take advantage
of.

- Expanish
expects students to demonstrate courtesy and respect for others (including
student’s grooming).
- Students are
expected to respect the property of others, including the School’s property
and facilities.
- Violence will
not be permitted under any circumstances, on any school property, or at any
school activity. Any student who assaults a teacher, student, or member of
staff will consequently have his/her program cancelled.
- No student
should engage in verbal abuse, based on race, place of origin, color,
ethnic origin, citizenship, sex, sexual orientation, creed, age, marital
status, family status or handicap.
At accomodation
-Respect for host
family and/or housemates is expected at all times.
-We require that
students ask the host family’s permission before inviting others, to the home.
-Overnight guests
are not permitted.
-If the student’s
program includes meals, the student, must always advise the host family if they
do not plan to attend any of these meals.
-It is advisable to
ask before using something from the host´s property, or before eating something
(in the case of shared apartment or homestay without meals).
- We highly
recommend discussing with the family / housemates of any rules that are
applicable, at the beginning of the stay, in order to prevent misunderstandings
and uncomfortable situations later.
