Ready to register for an Expanish course in Latin America? Here’s how! 

1.                  First, decide on which Spanish Course you would like to register for and in which location. Also decide on which housing you would like, if applicable.

2.                  You will need to have the following information handy:

a.                   Course Start Dates - every Monday, year round

b.                  Course End Dates - every Friday, year round

c.                   Flight Information

d.                  Your Passport

e.                   Emergency Contact Details

3.                  Please give thought to your accommodation start and end dates and ensure that they coincide with your flight details, unless of course you have further travelling plans. Accommodation start dates are for the Sunday before your first stay in the school, with the last day being the Saturday after your final day in school. Please note on the registration form if you require additional days.

4.                  If your requested start date is less than two (2) weeks away, please contact the Expanish office by phone or email to check availability, especially if you require accommodation

5.                  Work your way through the registration form completing the information. Any fields that are highlighted by a (red asterix) are compulsory fields.

6.                  Make sure you have read and fully understand the Terms and Conditions and indicate so at the end of the registration form. If you have any queries, please consult a member of the Expanish staff through the Contact Us page.

7.                  The Expanish team will be in touch by email with confirmation of your registration, along with your invoice and payment options. You will also be sent a Spanish level test, to ascertain your current level of Spanish, which you will need to complete and send back to the office.

8.                  Shortly before your arrival date, the Expanish Team will send to you by email a ‘Pre-Arrival' information pack, listing all the details about your destination, your school and course, along with information on your accommodation.

9.                  Pack, confirm your flights, and we will look forward to your arrival and hosting you in Latin America!

  • Add a Little 'Lunfardo' to Your Spanish Immersion Courses in Buenos Aires

    When walking down the streets of Buenos Aires, talking with locals, or socializing in a bar, students studying Spanish in Buenos Aires will quickly realize that there are words being used that are unrecognizable to them. These words are most likely lunfardo, or in English, slang. In Buenos Aires lunfardo is used frequently, and like the rest of the Spanish language, students learning Spanish in Buenos Aires will learn these words through practice.
