flecha Details of Spanish + Tango in Buenos Aires

Two weeks of intensive immersion Spanish group classes (4 hours/day, Monday through Friday). Students will take a placement test and be placed in a group class that is suitable to their level of Spanish (beginner to advanced). 

Two weeks of tango lessons (two individual and four group lessons) with an excellent and experienced teacher at an esteemed dance centre of tango in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Students will also enjoy a guided night-out to a local Milonga (transportation included). Our guide is a professional tango dancer who will explain the origins of Milonga, relation of the dance, Milongs codes, etc.

Two weeks in a shared apartment or homestay (without meals) with a native Spanish speaker in one of Buenos Aires’ central neighbourhoods.

flecha Details of Tango Lessons

During your tango lessons, you will be taught basic dance steps by a highly trained and experienced tango professor. Your teacher will not only teach you the basic moves but will also enable you to connect to the rhythm and feeling of tango music and thus the culture of tango in Argentina. In your group classes twice a week, you will be able to share your first tango steps with your classmates, supporting and encouraging each others’ progress and comfort in a fun and enjoyable environment. Each group class is one hour and a half, and each private class is one hour, with one private and two group classes per week. All are taught in Spanish to further ensure practical experience with that language so you can truly learn Spanish in Argentina. By learning the tango in Buenos Aires, you will undoubtedly not only have the opportunity to learn Spanish but will also gain an insider perspective on porteño language and culture.
