From airport pickup on the very first day through your move out day, Expanish students can count on our assistance no matter what the circumstance. Here are some of the student support services we offer to each student in Buenos Aires:

Student Services Help Desk

For all questions on the student end, we have established a Student Services Help Desk. Our bilingual office and Spanish school staff in Buenos Aires is available each business day to address any concerns that may arise and students additionally have a 24-hour emergency contact number in Buenos Aires and each Expanish destination. From helping students select courses to choosing the best gym, the staff of Expanish is here to help.

Health and Traveler’s Insurance

Expanish *highly* recommends that all students have comprehensive international health and travel insurance abroad for the full duration of their program. For those who wish to purchase insurance, Expanish has teamed up with CareMed International to offer students two comprehensive travel and medical insurance packages at affordable monthly rates to ensure international coverage for our students. Plans for insurance abroad include medical, legal and technical services, 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and are valid for study in Buenos Aires, or any Expanish destination, along with travel around South America.

Health and Safety Information

Expanish assures all students that we take health and safety as well as safe travel practices very seriously on each of our programs abroad. International concerns and all emergency information available in Argentina are taken into heavy consideration when developing our programs and are at the forefront of our minds throughout the length of each student’s program.  Please visit our Buenos Aires Health and Safety page for more info on safety abroad on Expanish programs.

Student Visas

Depending on their nationality, some students may be required to apply for a student visa if studying Spanish in Argentina on a program over 90 days in duration. Please visit our Student Visa page for specific requirements about your home country.

Airport Pick-Up

Students can choose the additional option of an airport pickup, where they will be met at the Buenos Aires international airport and transported to their accommodation by hired car.

Pre arrivals and Welcome Materials

Students receive an electronic pre-arrival pack the week before their program begins to help students prepare for their trip. Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, students receive further welcome and orientation materials to help acquaint them with the city. The packet contains tourist info about Buenos Aires, program and class information, and activities such as city tours to be used during their stay in Argentina

Conversation Partner (Intercambio)

Students wishing to practice their Spanish with a local native Spanish speaker in Buenos Aires can be introduced to an Intercambio language exchange partner (subject to availability based on native language). Students can practice both languages while meeting at their leisure throughout the duration of their stay (minimum one month). For students studying for shorter amounts of time, Expanish schools plan weekly activities to participate in intercambios with locals.
