I like to teach Spanish because it's my way of making the rich language, customs and culture of Argentina and South America known. I speak English, German, Italian, French, Portuguese, ancient Greek and Latin, and I have been lucky enough to travel to most countries of Europe; North and South America; Russia; South East Asia; India; and Tanzania.

It is very interesting to exchange these different expressions between languages, which is why I really enjoy teaching.

| Sofia Quintana |
 |
I´m Sofía Quintana. I have studied Communication and Literature at Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. I taught Spanish, literature, philosophy and history for years while working as an economic journalist for media and important business schools. After realizing that my real vocation wasn’t exactly spending the rest of my life behind a desk writing about the stock market, I decided to do just what I really enjoy the most: teaching. I got an IH certificate to teach Spanish as a foreign language, packed my bags and moved from Spain to Argentina, where I live since last year. Although I was born in Spain, I was raised between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil, so I prefer to say that I’m just a world citizen… The best part of this amazing job is to share these kind of experiences with all the students from many different countries and cultures that I've been lucky to teach.

My name is Helena Fernández, I am from Spain and I moved to Buenos Aires in the beginning of 2008. I graduated in Linguistics and Literature in Madrid, and after that I did an M.A. in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. This master was very interesting and useful for my future endeavors and it gave me a broad range of different methods, techniques and approaches to the language. Before my experience in Buenos Aires, I taught Spanish as a Second Language in Madrid, New York and Rome, and all these experiences were very useful in forming my teaching approach. I like my job because it is very dynamic, enjoyable and nice, and also because you can provide people with a very important life tool.

| Sonia Herskovits |
 |
Hi! I am Sonia Herskovits. Besides being a teacher of Spanish, I attended the University of Communication Science and I have also studied Journalism. I have been working in these fields for 15 years. The use of language and communication are areas of constant learning to me. Teaching Spanish has opened up new worlds to me. It is like traveling around different continents without taking a plane. Through my teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to meet amazing people. Being a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language has not only has given me the chance to teach my language and my culture but also the chance to learn about people and lifestyles around the world as well. So while I teach Spanish, my students teach me a lot as a teacher but mostly as a human being.
