Arrival in Buenos Aires
All students of Expanish are provided with several services in order to support them during their stay in Buenos Aires. We offer a pre-arrival pack, welcome pack, optional airport pick-up and 24 hour emergency support.
Expanish recommends the following forms of transportation from the airport:
Private Car (Remis)
Hiring a private car is the easiest and safest way to arrive in Buenos Aires since you can arrange the transfer before your arrival and a private car will charge a flat fee for the service, no matter where you are going in the city or how long it takes you to get there.
Expanish Airport Transfer
Expanish can arrange a secure and reliable airport transfer for your arrival to Buenos Aires! With an Expanish airport transfer, one of our drivers will be waiting for you at the airport and will take you directly to your accommodation or to any other destination, whether it is day or night, weekday or weekend.
Private Shuttle Bus
Buses run every half an hour and run between the airport and the Manuel Tienda Leon terminal in downtown Buenos Aires, so students will have to find their own way from the terminal to their accommodation.
Expanish discourages students from utilizing the following methods of transport:
Public Bus
The public bus operates between the Ministro Pistarini (Ezeiza) International Airport and Plaza de Mayo in the city center. However, we do not recommend this option because the trip takes at least 2 hours, buses make regular stops through unsafe neighborhoods and buses do not have sufficient space for luggage.
Taxi
Flagging a taxi from outside the airport can be risky. These taxis sometimes take advantage of foreigners and can charge larger fees than the standard rate.
